Removing Google Chrome unique ID

Google Chrome is now a very popular browser and most likely you have a copy installed on your computer.

Unfortunately, Google Chrome stores a unique identifier with which you can be identified when browsing.

Aquila Security Software delivers a free tool to remove this Google Chrome unique ID.
It’s a light program that you can download form this page:

Once you have installed it on your computer, you have to look for it on your Windows Start menu, as it doesn’t create a link on your desktop. You can find it under AQLSoft -> Chrome Privacy Protector.

Close any running instances of Google Chrome and run chrome-privacy-protector.exe

That’s it, all done. Enjoy a (tiny) extra bit of your privacy.
